Refunds & cancellations
This policy applies to fee-based financial advice consultations offered by Beacon Row Financial Advice. It does not cover product premiums paid to insurers or lenders.
Eligibility
Fees paid for advice consultations may be refunded in full or in part depending on how far the engagement has progressed and whether you cancel or we cannot deliver the agreed scope.
Timeframe to request
Refund requests should be sent to hello@devsynclab.digital within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation confirmation or delivery of incomplete work).
Full refund
A full refund of consultation fees paid is available if you cancel more than 48 hours before the first booked session and no substantial preparatory work has been completed beyond the standard document checklist. If we cancel a session and cannot offer a suitable alternative within a reasonable time, fees paid for that unused session are refunded in full.
Partial refund
If you cancel after preparatory review of documents has begun but before the first session, we may retain a preparation fee of up to 30% of the agreed consultation fee and refund the balance. If a multi-session engagement ends after the first session by mutual agreement, fees for undelivered later sessions are refunded, less any agreed write-up already produced.
Non-refundable items
Time already spent in completed consultation sessions is non-refundable. Written plans or review letters already delivered remain chargeable. Third-party product arrangement fees paid to lenders or insurers follow those providers’ own rules and are outside this policy.
Deposits
Where a booking deposit is taken to reserve an appointment, it is applied to the final invoice. Deposits are refundable under the full-refund rules above; otherwise they may be retained against preparation costs.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a booked session with at least 48 hours’ notice at no extra charge. Rescheduling with less notice may be treated as a late cancellation.
No-shows
If you miss a session without notice, that session fee is chargeable. We will offer one alternative slot where diaries allow; further no-shows may end the engagement with fees due for work completed.
Work already started
Document review, draft plans, and meeting time already delivered are charged proportionally. You remain entitled to copies of materials produced for fees paid.
Refund process and method
Email hello@devsynclab.digital with your name, invoice reference, and reason. We confirm the outcome within 10 working days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 14 working days of approval.
Processing time
Bank and card providers may take additional days to show the credit after we initiate the refund.
